Who We Are

Isolation is one of the biggest struggles that people with mobility issues face. Being unable to access local services due to poor health and lack of support is all too common. People with mobility issues suffer from a lot other mental health issues such as, agoraphobia, low self esteem, dysmorphia and depression. This can make it more difficult to deal with the day to day struggles faced and make leaving the house feel impossible. Long term mental health struggles can also have a knock on effect on your overall health.

RelatAbility Support are a brand new support group, which hopes to offer online groups, in person meet ups and nights out to our members. To help combat isolation in a consistent and stress free way. Run by by those with mobility issues for those with mobility issues, we advocate for our members through first-hand knowledge and experience of the struggles we face.

Peer support is both a vital and positive way to use our collective experience to make a difference. Whether your new on this journey or have a lifetime of experience, your story can help others. Together we can make the the little changes that make all the difference. By just knowing that you aren’t alone, the world becomes a better place.

We hope that our members will make meaningful and lasting connections that will change their lives for the better.
